Mark Duncan has led Aeroedge Consulting for the last 13 years and enjoys both strategy development and capital improvement projects in the aviation, marine and security sectors.  He has served as a pilot in the Canadian Armed Forces and is a Professional Engineer with a Masters in Public Administration.

He is Chair of the  British Columbia Aviation Council (BCAC) Endowment Committee and is on the Advisory Board of Hope Air as well as a member of Vancouver Board of Trade Transportation Committee. 

Following 9/11 he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Canadian Transportation Security Authority (CATSA) in Ottawa.  In this position he had the opportunity to help establish a world class Federal Crown Corporation in the security sector.

Previously he was Regional Director General for Transport Canada in Pacific Region with regulatory responsibility for all modes of transportation. He cut his teeth in airport management as Deputy General Manager of Toronto-Lester B. Pearson Airport.
