Mark Duncan has led Aeroedge Consulting for the last 18 years and enjoys both strategy development and capital improvement projects in the aviation, marine and security sectors.  He has served as a pilot in the Canadian Armed Forces and is a Professional Engineer with a Masters in Public Administration.

He is Past Chair of the  British Columbia Aviation Council (BCAC) and  served on the Advisory Board of Hope Air.  He has served as a Board Member of Community Living BC and has been a long standing member of the Vancouver Board of Trade Transportation Committee. 

Following 9/11 he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Canadian Transportation Security Authority (CATSA) in Ottawa.  In this position he had the opportunity to help establish a world class Federal Crown Corporation in the security sector serving 89 airports across Canada.

Previously he was Regional Director General for Transport Canada in Pacific Region with regulatory responsibility for air, marine and surface modes of transportation. He cut his teeth in airport management as Deputy General Manager of Toronto-Lester B. Pearson Airport.

He is kept up to date on social media, artificial intelligence and technology updates by his four grand-children.
